Welcome to the “Pigeon Zine”, a collaborative publication that hopes to shed light on the very underrated birds we all know so well: the pigeon.
The love for pigeons was introduced to our studio by Riso Club member and illustrator Eva Polakovičová, who will be moving to the UK by the end of the year. What started as a fun project within our Riso Club as a goodbye gift for Eva quickly expanded into a larger, more fact-based publication.
We hope this small book gives you new insight into where pigeons come from, how fascinating they are, and how they have been shaped through their relationship with humans. Maybe the next time you see a pigeon, you’ll look at them with different eyes.
