Yokai are monsters from Japanese folklore. My Dad reminded me the other day while laughing at my 'cuter’ take on these characters, that they are also meant to be super scary.
'Yabai' is a catch-all term, the meaning can range from risky, dangerous & scary, but also can mean cool- just use it whenever, wherever.
All to say, that to me rude behaviour is super scary.
