Moon Viewing

Moon Viewing
“Inspired by the moon viewing festival to celebrate the Autumn Harvest.
One day the moon came down to earth disguised as a beggar they asked for help from a Fox, a Monkey & a Rabbit. The Fox brought them fish, the Monkey brought fruit, but the Rabbit who could only offer grass built a fire, which they threw themselves into as their offering.
The Moon was so moved by the Rabbit's selfless act pulled the Rabbit from the fire and took them back to the night sky, where the Rabbit now lives on the moon. In Japan, it is believed that you can see that very same Rabbit on the Moon making rice cakes - mochi, a staple food when Moon viewing.
What do you see when you look at the Full Moon?”
