Join us for a playful introduction to the world of Riso printing through collage. Collage is a perfect way to explore the possibilities of Risograph: experimenting with composition, layering, textures, and unexpected combinations of images and colors. By cutting, arranging, and assembling materials, you'll create designs that translate beautifully into vibrant Riso prints.

During this workshop, we’ll dive into the fun and versatile process of collage while discovering how it can become a powerful starting point for your Riso projects.

What can you expect of this workshop?

Working with Risograph and collage can sometimes be a bit challenging, especially when thinking about color layers, overlays, and negative space. That’s why throughout the workshop we’ll guide you step by step, helping you get the most out of the playful interaction between collage and Riso printing.

To get the day started, there will be a short demo and a few warm-up exercises exploring textures, patterns, and composition, along with practical tips to help you get going. The rest of the evening will be dedicated to working on your own piece(s), enjoying some drinks and conversation, and experimenting freely with this technique.

The workshop concludes with everyone printing their designs on the Riso!

You’ll go home not only with your original collages, but also with a small series of A4 Riso prints.
