Welcome to the Riso Club! This is members page which you will have access to for the rest of the year. Every month this page will be updated with the monthly theme, paper special as well as resources and or inspiration gathered for you. My plan is to keep developing this page so it becomes more interactive, with help of your feedback, but for now this will be the basic version.

Quick Overview - Please read

  • Monthly Theme (optional): Every month you will find an optional theme. This is to help you in case you need some inspiration.

  • Paper: We print standard with Biotop 160gsm. Sometimes we have special paper that we will announce beforehand. You are welcome to bring your own paper as well, and if you’d like to use specific paper at the studio this will have extra costs.

  • Calendar (fixed): When you scroll down you will find printing session date as well as the deadline to send in your files. We use this information to have paper stock ready and plan the printing sessions.

  • Printing Session: Printing sessions will take place on the last Saturday of the months (with certain exceptions). You can decide to join the live session and print with us, or select the shipping option.
    I will always print your work as long as you send it before the deadline.

Hello Riso Club friends!

🌸 Spring is in full bloom and little creatures are out and about. 🌸
For this months Riso Club we will take a peak into their lives with a theme:

🐞 Tiny Worlds 🐞

Big adventures can happen in very small places. Imagine a miniature world hidden inside a flower, teacup, mushroom, or garden corner. Who lives there? What are they doing? From tiny houses and hidden cities to microscopic landscapes,
zoom in and bring a small world to life.

As always, both the theme is optional, so feel free to follow your own ideas as well.

This Months’ Theme:

Theme: Tiny Worlds

How to tackle this theme:

Imagine little bugs on their way to work, fairies picking fruits in the forest and perhaps a mouse hiding underneath a mushroom cap. Think about the big lives of tiny creatures, little pine cone houses or full flower cities blooming with life.

What tiny worlds could you portray? How close will you zoom in?
You could even think about an ant party or a beetle brunch.

Remember you don’t have to do a literal translation of the theme.

Back to the classics: A4 two colour print

This month we are back to our classic assignment, a two colour A4 print.
 

Remember that the theme is always optional!

You can use all of our 15 colours!
Please note that we are low on Sunflower Yellow & Aqua

Preparing your files

  • Please have your designs ready, in B&W

  • Your files will be A4 format.

  • Your design should be in separate files per colour.

  • These files should be saved as PDF’s

  • Please also send your full colour version so I can use as reference (in JPEG or PNG).

Printing Session at Studio


Print session will take place at the studio on Maasstraat 182.

If you want to send in designs for printing, feel free to do so, just note that we’ll print them at a later time.

  • Files - Send your design in separate files - PDF black & white with a reference pic in colour in JPEG.

  • YourName_Colour

  • Sending Files > Since WeTransfer has become a pain (€) we have found some new free options for you: Swisstransfer, Transfernow folder, as it is easy for bigger documents.

  • Riso Club Google Drive: We have also set a Google Drive folder where you can make a folder and place your files directly!
